The conditions for crossing the Ukrainian border are related to measures of limitting the spread of COVID-19 and depend on the category of the country to which it belongs to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, respectively, “red” or “green” category.

The current list of countries’ attitudes to the “red” or “green” zones can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

If the passenger came from the “green zone”, he has the opportunity not to undergo self-isolation. The condition for crossing the border is the presence of a health insurance policy covering COVID-19 treatment and observation.

The insurance policy must be issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company – a partner in Ukraine (assistance), and covers the costs associated with the treatment of COVID- 19, observation, and is valid for the period of stay in Ukraine.

The condition of absence of observation and self-isolation for passengers crossing the border of Ukraine traveling from the country of the “red zone” is the presence of a negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR, which can be done after crossing the state border, as well as a health insurance policy covering COVID-19 treatment and observation.

Having a COVID-19 antibody certificate does not exempt the passenger from having to undergo COVID-19 PCR testing after crossing the state border, or undergoing observation if he / she has arrived from a country in the “red zone”.

For all passengers crossing the state border of Ukraine, traveling from the country of the “red zone”, it is mandatory to install the application “Dii vdoma” on the phone.

They also need to choose one of three options:

  • Observation in specialized isolators;
  • 14-day self-isolation at the place of residence for persons who have agreed to undergo it through the “Dii vdoma” program;
  • Testing for COVID-19 by PCR after crossing the state border.

Please note that access to airport terminals is currently restricted for escorts. Only passengers, airline and airport employees, as well as persons accompanying special categories of passengers (passengers with special needs, etc.) have access.

Due to the need to adhere to a distance of 1.5-2 m during all formal procedures at the airport, during boarding / disembarking, it is recommended to arrive at the airport in advance.

At the entrance to the airport terminal and when boarding the aircraft, all passengers, airline employees and the airport undergo temperature screening and external health assessment. If the passenger is diagnosed with fever and / or symptoms of COVID-19, access to the terminal and carriage will be denied.

The airline also recommends washing your hands as often as possible or treating them with disinfectants throughout the trip.

In accordance with the established requirements, “Aviation company “Air Ocean Airlines” disinfects the cabin before each flight.

The aircraft is equipped with highly efficient HEPA filters that clean the air in the cabin of the aircraft, which is supplied every 2-3 minutes.

We sincerely believe that only the joint implementation of all sanitary and epidemiological rules will counteract the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, we ask you to comply with all the above requirements as much as possible!

COVID-19 refusal conditions from flight

I understand that I should not arrive at the airport for a flight if any of the following circumstances are present:

  • I was diagnosed with COVID-19* at any time within 14 days before my departure.
  • I had any relevant symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, recently developed cough, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath) during the last 8 days before my departure.
  • I am sure that I was in close contact (for example, less than 2 meters for more than 15 minutes) with a person who was diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days before my departure.
  • I am required by local or national regulations to be quarantined for reasons related to COVID-19 for a period including the date of departure.

In case of any of the above circumstances, I will contact “Aviation Company “Air Ocean Airlines” prior to departure. I understand that any of these circumstances found at the airport will result in the denial of my trip.

I confirm that these requirements apply to each passenger whom I book tickets for.
